Linksy is built by Sean in Wales. The idea came while watching a YouTube video one evening: a creator was showing off a product they clearly loved, and Sean kept thinking, if I was that creator, how would I get the chance to work with that business? And if I was that business, how would I find the right creator in the first place? The match felt obvious, but the path to get there did not exist.
That same thought kept coming up around live music. Sean loves gigs, and watching venues in Cardiff struggle or close is hard when there are so many spaces across South Wales that could host brilliant events: community halls, hotel function rooms, bars with a corner for a PA, arts centres, rooftops, basements. The problem is not a lack of places; it is that the people with the space and the people with the idea never find each other.
So Linksy flips it. Post what you need, and the right match comes to you. Whether it is a creator looking for a brand, a business looking for a creator, or a venue with a quiet Tuesday looking for an act, the goal is the same: keep events and live music going in spaces we never really think about.
Linksy is independent and built in Wales. There is no big investor or agency behind it, just Sean and the first Cardiff members, and every one of them helps shape what launches.

What is Linksy?
Linksy is a two-way marketplace for creators, businesses, venues and artists. Creators post what content they are planning, businesses post what they want covered, artists post tour briefs, and venues list their spaces. Whoever posts first, the right match comes to them.
How much does Linksy cost?
Creators and artists are always free. Businesses pay £49.99 per month after a 99p first month, and venues pay £29.99 per month after a 99p first month. No commission and no hidden charges.
When does Linksy launch?
We are opening in cohorts, starting with Cardiff. Join the waitlist and we will email you as soon as your invite is ready, then roll out nationwide from there.
Do creators or artists pay anything?
No. Creators and artists are completely free to join, post briefs, browse, message, and collaborate. Linksy makes its money from businesses and venues, not from creators or artists.
What is a founding member?
Founding members are the first Cardiff businesses and venues to join Linksy during our launch phase. We are offering 25 founding business spots and 10 founding venue spots. Founding members get their first month for 99p, their monthly price locked forever, a Founding badge on their profile, and direct access to the Linksy founder. Once the spots are gone they are gone permanently.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Businesses and venues pay just 99p for their first month, then the normal monthly price. A card is needed to start, and you can cancel anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
How does Linksy compare to other influencer platforms?
Most influencer platforms charge businesses between £100 and £200 per month and also charge creators a fee on every deal. Linksy charges businesses £49.99 per month and venues £29.99 per month, and charges creators and artists nothing ever. We are also the only platform focused specifically on Cardiff and local UK cities, and the only one that combines creator and business matching with artist and venue booking in a single platform.
